- Fees are due in full upon registration. In the case of withdrawal, classes already taken, along with the registration fee and uniform costs, are non-refundable.
- There is a one-time, non-refundable, non-discounted $25 registration fee per child. Students returning in future semesters will not be subject to this fee.
- Sibling discount of 5% is offered for the second child and subsequent children from the same family.
- There is a 20% discount for the second weekly class taken by a single student.
- Fees can be paid via credit card (Visa/Mastercard) using our online registration form or via check made out to “Downtown Dance Factory, LLC”. In the case of payment by check, please fill out the online form, leave payment information blank and indicate in the comments field that you will pay by check. Downtown Dance Factory – Policies
Trial Class Policy: As of October 15th, 2009, children can do one trial class for a flat fee of $36, payable in cash or check at the time of the trial. If you decide to register your child for the class, this fee will be applied to the semester's tuition. However, a position cannot be reserved in any class based on a trial request alone. If the class becomes fully registered by the time the trial is scheduled to take place, your child will need to try/enroll in a different time/class.
We regret that refunds cannot be given after the second week of the semester. In the case of a withdrawal, classes already taken, along with the registration fee and uniform costs, are non-refundable.
Uniform requirements, as set out on our uniform page must be followed. Hair should be pulled neatly off the face for class at all times.
We would appreciate your respecting your teacher and your fellow students by arriving punctually for class each week. Students should arrive no more than 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled time for their class. Similarly, parents/caregivers should arrive only 5 minutes prior to pick-up time to avoid drop-off/pick-up congestion. After class, students will be released to waiting parents/caregivers in the Studio corridor.
Should students need to change or use the bathroom, they should proceed to the bathrooms/changerooms on the level below our studio. Please note that these bathrooms/changerooms are shared with the general Fitness Club membership, so children should be chaperoned at all times.
Please note that apart from the TutuTots classes (in which parents/caregivers are participants), we regret that the studio is not set up right now for parent class viewing. An end-of-semester demonstration and end-of-year concert will give opportunity to see all we've been learning.
Make-up classes are available only when an absence is due to illness and Downtown Dance Factory is advised prior to the missed class. At this stage, Downtown Dance Factory offers only limited classes at each age level and in each genre, so there are a limited number of classes available for make-ups. Please call to discuss and schedule any make-ups and we will do our best to accommodate you.
