General Info

The Inaugural Downtown Dance Factory Recital 2010 was held on Sunday May 16th at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. The show was a huge success! Parents, siblings, neighbors, relatives and friends flooded BMCC TPAC’s Theatre 1 and practically filled all 912 seats! The Downtown Dance Factory Dancers gave an absolutely fabulous performance and brought down the house at the end with a school-wide finale to “We’re All In This Together” from Disney’s High School Musical.

Costumes

For Downtown Dance Factory Recitals, each class has a specific recital costume themed according to the class’ recital dance. Downtown Dance Factory works to source the most beautiful (and economical) costumes for all of our students. We can assure you that everyone will look fabulous on stage! After the performance, the costumes are yours to keep! And unlike at other dance schools where costumes can range from $60-80 each, we were happy to keep prices down to $35 for professional costumes in 2010 and hope to do the same or similar for 2011!

Rehearsal
