Recital
Downtown Dance Factory holds in-class Demonstrations in January, at the end of the Fall Semester, with our big studio-wide* recitals in June, at the end of the Winter/Spring Semester. We pride ourselves on our professionally run, theater-based recitals, which are fun and rewarding for students and audience members alike. You'll enjoy everything from our 3-year old aspiring ballerinas and our cool breakdancing boys to our loud and lovely tappers and our teenage hip hop marvels ... and just wait for the finale!
Downtown Dance Factory Recital Policy
We believe that, as dance is a performing art, a performance experience is an integral part of our students' dance education. All dancers* are strongly encouraged to participate in our recital. A costume fee of $38 will be charged along with Winter/Spring Semester tuition. If for any reason a dancer will not be able to participate in the 2012 recital, please let us know prior to the February break (i.e. prior to February 17th, 2012), and you will be refunded your costume fee.

Saturday & Sunday, June 9th & 10th
Recital day/time allocations for each class will be made by late April. We will make every effort to group siblings together, as well as to place children in multiple classes in the same show. However, we cannot guarantee this.
Rehearsals will be held in the afternoons/evenings in the week prior - exact days tba
* note that our TutuTots and TADA! students do not participate in recital, but instead have an in-class demonstration at the end of Winter/Spring Semester.
